«¹⁰صَغِيرٌ أَنَا عَنْ جَمِيعِ أَلْطَافِكَ وَجَمِيعِ الأَمَانَةِ الَّتِي صَنَعْتَ إِلَى عَبْدِكَ. فَإِنِّي بِعَصَايَ عَبَرْتُ هَذَا الأُرْدُنَّ وَالْآنَ قَدْ صِرْتُ جَيْشَيْنِ»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ32: 10).

«⁴لِيُقِيمَ الرَّبُّ كَلاَمَهُ الَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ عَنِّي قَائِلاً: إِذَا حَفِظَ بَنُوكَ طَرِيقَهُمْ وَسَلَكُوا أَمَامِي بِالأَمَانَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَكُلِّ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لاَ يُعْدَمُ لَكَ رَجُلٌ عَنْ كُرْسِيِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ»(سِفْرُ اَلْمُلُوكِ الأَوَّلُ2: 4).
