«²فَأَجْعَلَكَ أُمَّةً عَظِيمَةً وَأُبَارِكَكَ وَأُعَظِّمَ اسْمَكَ وَتَكُونَ بَرَكَةً»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ12: 2).

«²⁰وَأَمَّا إِسْمَاعِيلُ فَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ لَكَ فِيهِ. هَا أَنَا أُبَارِكُهُ وَأُثْمِرُهُ وَأُكَثِّرُهُ كَثِيراً جِدّاً. اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ رَئِيساً يَلِدُ وَأَجْعَلُهُ أُمَّةً كَبِيرَةً»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ17: 20).

Gen_18:18 Seeing that AbrahamH85 shall surely becomeH1961 H1961 a greatH1419 and mightyH6099 nation,H1471 and allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 shall be blessedH1288 in him?

«¹⁸وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ يَكُونُ أُمَّةً كَبِيرَةً وَقَوِيَّةً وَيَتَبَارَكُ بِهِ جَمِيعُ أُمَمِ الأَرْضِ؟»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ18: 18).

«¹³وَابْنُ الْجَارِيَةِ أَيْضاً سَأَجْعَلُهُ أُمَّةً لأَنَّهُ نَسْلُكَ»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ21: 13).

«¹⁸قُومِي احْمِلِي الْغُلاَمَ وَشُدِّي يَدَكِ بِهِ لأَنِّي سَأَجْعَلُهُ أُمَّةً عَظِيمَةً»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ21: 18).

«¹¹وَقَالَ لَهُ اللهُ: «أَنَا اللهُ الْقَدِيرُ. أَثْمِرْ وَاكْثُرْ. أُمَّةٌ وَجَمَاعَةُ أُمَمٍ تَكُونُ مِنْكَ. وَمُلُوكٌ سَيَخْرُجُونَ مِنْ صُلْبِكَ»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ35: 11).

«³فَقَالَ: «أَنَا اللهُ إِلَهُ أَبِيكَ. لاَ تَخَفْ مِنَ النُّزُولِ إِلَى مِصْرَ لأَنِّي أَجْعَلُكَ أُمَّةً عَظِيمَةً هُنَاكَ»(سِفْرُ التَّكْوِينِ46: 3).

«¹⁰فَالآنَ اتْرُكْنِي لِيَحْمَى غَضَبِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَأُفْنِيَهُمْ فَأُصَيِّرَكَ شَعْباً عَظِيماً»(سِفْرُ اَلْخُرُوجُ32: 10).

«¹³فَالآنَ إِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ وَجَدْتُ نِعْمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْكَ فَعَلِّمْنِي طَرِيقَكَ حَتَّى أَعْرِفَكَ لِكَيْ أَجِدَ نِعْمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْكَ. وَانْظُرْ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةَ شَعْبُكَ»(سِفْرُ اَلْخُرُوجُ33: 13).

«¹⁰فَقَالَ: «هَا أَنَا قَاطِعٌ عَهْداً. قُدَّامَ جَمِيعِ شَعْبِكَ أَفْعَلُ عَجَائِبَ لَمْ تُخْلَقْ فِي كُلِّ الأَرْضِ وَفِي جَمِيعِ الأُمَمِ فَيَرَى جَمِيعُ الشَّعْبِ الَّذِي أَنْتَ فِي وَسَطِهِ فِعْلَ الرَّبِّ. إِنَّ الَّذِي أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ مَعَكَ رَهِيبٌ»(سِفْرُ اَلْخُرُوجُ34: 10).

«¹²إِنِّي أَضْرِبُهُمْ بِالوَبَإِ وَأُبِيدُهُمْ وَأُصَيِّرُكَ شَعْباً أَكْبَرَ وَأَعْظَمَ مِنْهُمْ»(سِفْرُ اَلْعَدَد14: 12).

«⁶فَاحْفَظُوا وَاعْمَلُوا. لأَنَّ ذَلِكَ حِكْمَتُكُمْ وَفِطْنَتُكُمْ أَمَامَ أَعْيُنِ الشُّعُوبِ الذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ كُل هَذِهِ الفَرَائِضِ فَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا الشَّعْبُ العَظِيمُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَعْبٌ حَكِيمٌ وَفَطِنٌ»(سِفْرُ اَلَتَّثْنِيَة4: 6).

«⁵⁰أُمَّةً جَافِيَةَ الوَجْهِ لا تَهَابُ الشَّيْخَ وَلا تَحِنُّ إِلى الوَلدِ»(سِفْرُ اَلَتَّثْنِيَة28: 50).
